Place Your Dreams and Goals in God's Hands.

 I just wanted to share a little God moment I had this afternoon. Well we all know that it's new years and that's the time we all write or have our new years resolution and/or goals that we want/try to accomplish throughout the year. so this afternoon I turned on some music, sat down, and I started to write out some Goals (new year resolutions) that I want to accomplish this year and as I started to write out the list off things I just started to feel so overwhelmed and defected and I began to cry. I started to cry because I knew that in all honesty I probably wasn't going to accomplish much because in previous years I hadn't accomplished much... and I started to believe the lies of the enemy, and how I'm such a failure and I will never accomplish those goals so why even try... But at that same time I was listening to 'The Anthem' by Planetshakers and when I finally became quiet enough to listen to God instead of my feelings and the voices of the enemy and other people, He reminded me that He has WON the victory and He has WON IT ALL FOR ME! And I am victorious and I CAN accomplish ANY/EVERYTHING with Him because He died and overcame so that I could overcome and be victorious. And in that split second I was reminded of Mark 10:27 "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with Him!" After that I had to pray and ask God to forgive me for putting my plans, goals and dreams before Him and not even stopping to ask Him what His plans are for me this year. So as you all begin your new year don't forget to acknowledge God, Proverbs 3:6 says, "In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."  Also in Jeremiah 29:11God says, He knows the plans that He has for us , plans to prosper us, not to harm us, plans to give us a HOPE and a FUTURE. :) Remember that we are VICTORIOUS and we CAN/WILL do all things through Christ who strengthens us! No matter how long or difficult your goals may be or seem believe that God will help you through it and trust Him that He will be right by your side helping you through it. His plans are better than our dreams! Stay encouraged! :)
